TARRA2017 | "The Politics of Design" | October 20-21st 2017

Join us on October 20-21st to celebrate a 2-day celebration and discource about "The Politics of Design." The lineup includes networking events, exhibits and gatherings, with the mission to champion women who are elevating industry standards and driving innovation in their fields.

TARRA is a global community of women who are innovating, transforming, creating, designing, writing, fabricating, building and thinking outside the box. We place women at the center of the conversation by highlighting those who are breaking barriers and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Kate Bailey, TARRA's Founder and Executive Director, has 20 years of experience as a journalist, editor and marketing executive in the world of architecture and design.

In 2015, after having met with and interviewed numerous women across a variety of creative disciplines, she founded TARRA to address the gender gap within a multitude of industries - from architecture, art and furniture design to website development, graphic design and advertising.

The platform rapidly expanded to include networking, education, mentorship and events programming. Today, Bailey has set her sites on creating a global community of women working towards the same goal - to level the playing field once and for all.
