2D Animator / Motion Graphic Designer

 

My client, a well-known, award winning, animation agency is looking for a 2D Animator to join their creative team. You will mainly be working on 2D animations however, knowledge and experience of 3D animation would definitely be advantageous.

The agency produces a real mixture of exciting work from global TV campaigns to interactive motion pieces right through to documentaries. No two days will ever be the same!

You will be responsible for your own time management and managing your own creative briefs. You must be able to work quickly and efficiently and have excellent attention to detail. The work will include creating storyboards, compositing live action footage, kinetic text, producing original sleek computer animations. You will have a passion for animation and be interested and at the forefront of current design trends. The agency is looking for a confident Animator, someone who has the ability to put creative ideas on the table and back them.

Essential software

  • After Effects 
  • Photoshop 
  • Illustrator 
  • Premiere 

Knowledge of the following software is an advantage but not a deal breaker  

  • Cinema 4D
  • 3DS Max
  • Maya 

Language: excellent verbal English is a requirement for this position.

The perfect Animator for this agency will be a true creative, a story-teller, someone who is talented at producing emotive moving pieces. You will ideally come from a production house and have 3-5 years’ experience.
