The Art Director oversees the creative output (both design and copy) of all companies. This person will assume the role of Creative and Design team head, leading the team in the provision of creative services to all Business Units.
In general, this senior position will assume the responsibility of leading the communication design, interactive design, and creative concept in any work assigned; as well as approve all creative work from graphic design and copy to multimedia and online marketing items.
The Art Director is also responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic marketing plan developed and for strengthening the company’s market position and brand image by offering innovative creative solutions.
This person will also offer consultancy service to all Business Units and foster an innovative, solution focused culture by leveraging marketing opportunities.
Manage the studio and lead a team of creative including copywriters, graphic designers and team managers
Oversee the design work and projects from Multimedia and E-Commerce, working closely with the two teams and offer them consultation service in terms of design and branding
Supervise all projects big and small from branding initiatives, development of corporate identity and ad campaigns to adaptation jobs
Work with Business Units to solve marketing problems through smart, well-designed advertising and collateral materials that help sell products as well as reinforce brand identity
Lead creative input meetings to develop creative strategies
Oversee the implementation of all creative requirements including copy, layout, illustrations and
Able to translate his/her vision about the importance of the creative output to team members and
ensure that the creative output meets the high standard of the company
Participate in all projects in Macau and overseas, as well as represent the company in the supervision
and approval of all outsourced creative work
Strive for excellence in everything from concept to completion of every project on schedule
Work with team in liaising with vendors and in signing off final art, color proofs and press proofs Confirm
client review and delivery schedules and assign jobs to team members

More than 5 years of experience in the field of design and production, advertising, branding, marketing etc
In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate success in proactively responding to a dynamic and fluid market.
Bachelor Degree Holder in Graphic Design, Art or equivalent professional training
Skills / Competencies
Fluent in both written and spoken English / Chinese
Effective project leader, a clear communicator and consensus builder, highly organized, very detail-
oriented and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with advertising, brand management, hospitality and gaming marketing as well as creative
Self-motivation and time management skills
Experience with strategic vendors is a must
Excellent leadership and presentation skills with the charisma to influence, inspire and motivate fellow
Exceptional intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility with strong analytical and problem solving
Ability to conceptualize and to direct concepts through design and execution
A Mac user with solid knowledge of programs including Adobe CS5, Acrobat and Bridge, Microsoft Office
Competent computer literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
