Job Description

Art Director – Gaming (casual casino)

My client, an international gaming company are looking for a talented Art Director to join their dynamic team.

You will be an experienced, ambitious Art Director with an eye for detail, who will be leading entire projects and overseeing the work of junior members as well as take ownership of the aesthetics and managing your own creative output. You will be getting involved right from the outset, working with the senior members of the team to understand the creative briefs and the strategy behind the design. This means you’ll be looking at current trends, insights and data, expressing visual identity through moodboards and brainstorming initial ideas and concepts. You will be responsible for creating the initial visuals (by hand or on the computer) and presenting them to senior stakeholders. The work you produce won’t just be art or UI design but the whole gambit; animation, sound, typography, the brand and the CGI look and feel. As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring junior members of the team, as well as training newer members of the team.

To be considered for this Art Direcrtor role you will have at least 3 years gaming experience, (casual casino experience would be advantageous). Gaming is different to usual graphic design so you will be familiar with the technical constraints of game engines

This role will be based in Hong Kong and my client will consider offering a relocation package for the right person i.e. someone with a strong/ proven background within gaming.

If this sound like your next Art Director position then please do get in touch via the website or send your CV and gaming Portfolio to
