Job Description

Savvy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Country Manager to oversee and manage the growth of our Hong Kong office. As an established 360 recruitment consultant, you will manage a highly lucrative hot desk of amazing clients regionally & internationally and be responsible for building a team to consistently exceed target/revenue expectations.


  • Manage a portfolio of key clients & senior level candidates delivering a specialised recruitment service
  • Working to KPIs- Individual targets, Activity Reporting, Fee Generation, New Business Development and contributing to the Team targets
  • Working with the Director to develop business strategy and objectives to retain key revenue generating clients, pitch for retained business and develop the highly lucrative temporary/freelance recruitment desk
  • Work with the Director to develop training initiatives for the consultants
  • Assist Management with external Business Partner relationships as required
  • Utilise specialist market knowledge and continued market research to identify new business potential and brand exposure
  • Produce market reports and presentations to illustrate key new business opportunities
    • Analyse New & Existing Business for Hong Kong
    • Develop the 'Savvy Sectors' based on your market research
  • Develop marketing initiatives to attract the top talent in the industry and acquire new business
  • Develop regional client relationships & cross office business and identify where the business needs to focus on for growth and success
  • Administration and Database Management


  • Minimum of 5 years recruitment/talent management experience across freelance, contract & permanent requirements
  • Strong Commercial awareness, a structured and hands-on approach to sales, must have a record of high-level sales
  • Excellent team player with the ability to manage small teams and drive team success
  • Delivery-focused and results-oriented individual
  • Excellent Client account management skills
  • Significant Business Development experience
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Attention to detail in all aspects for work
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Extensive knowledge of one or more of these sectors: Interiors & Architecture, Fashion, Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing & PR, Product Design and/or Events & Exhibitions.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Oversees candidates with relevant creative recruitment experience will be considered
