Job Description

A world renowned sport and lifestyle brand is looking for a dynamic, Marketing Manager to build their local audiences, regionally and globally, by increasing brand awareness and positioning, working with in-house resources, regional distributors, sales reps and licensees. The successful candidate will be very strong in overall marketing management, including strategy, budget, and execution across a spectrum of channels – print advertising, digital and social media, PR, event activation, and the development and management of brand ambassadors. Must have a good knowledge of the Hong Kong market trends in this particular sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an energetic, motivated team, working on a global brand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and execute seasonal marketing, utilizing global campaigns tailored to appeal to APAC
  • Develop, manage and maximize PR opportunities
  • Work with creative sales teams to ensure development of territory specific campaign imagery – includes seasonal advertising, in-store, event imagery and digital needs
  • Accountable for aligning marketing budget
  • Manage territory specific print and digital advertising budgets
  • Social media management
  • Internal Marketing Communication
  • Events and retail marketing
  • Sales marketing and brand development with distributors and reps, providing tools to service each territory
  • Regional monitoring
  • Brand ambassador and team management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Marketing & Communications or similar
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin (Putonghua)
  • Minimum 7 years experience in MNCs, preferably sports & lifestyle or retail, with Asia Pacific exposure
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, organized and have excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude, team-player mentality, focused
  • Excellent understanding of the Action Sports Industry specifically in Asia Pacific market and understand the brand and its heritage
  • Deadline & budget oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office, social networks, digital content management, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or video editing, etc.
  • Travel where/when necessary
