Job Description

Savvy is currently working with an exciting MNC who are looking for a Product Development Specialist.
Our client is a very established company who have been in their industry close to 100 years. They are known for their Globally recognizable brands and have a huge corporate responsibility to ensure they give back to the community.
They are currently expanding their team in Singapore rapidly and looking for someone with the following experience.

  • Manage all product and packaging development & approvals in line with the brand/style guides.

  • Ensure the commercial requirements and project timelines are achieved for your products.

  • Work closely with the Category & Creative Managers to ensure maximum proactivity and ensure best practices are met.

  • Provide design direction & inspiration to develop products using the latest styles guides, and help with the initial development of the product alongside the Category & Creative Managers.

  • Ensure at each stage key milestones are achieved, information is shared and tracking the process of the product.

  • Assist in the logistics and delivery of the product from start to finish including materials, concept boards, samples etc

  • Be the brand ambassador and play an active part in the creative community by building relationships with the other Product Development Specialists.


  • A Degree in Product Design, Product Development or Product Marketing/Management is required.

  • At least 3 years commercial experience working with an entertainment brand or part of the creative development team.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects is essential.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Exposure to 3D product development, fashion/textiles development processes and/or manufacturing processes would be ideal.

  • Experience in licensing, category management and/or building brands is highly desirable.
