Job Description
The main responsibility of the Senior Graphic Designer is to provide creative talent, innovation and strong branding experience to the Creative team, ensuring all artwork and copies are produced correctly, timely and consistently with the corporate direction and branding guidelines.
Work within a team of Graphic Designers along with Copywriters, different Brand Managers as well as other relevant business units to provide creative artwork for advertising (including advertisements, pamphlets, merchandise and other communication mediums as required)
Ensure all artwork is correct and compliant to the briefs. The candidate will be expected to take a project from initial concept through to print ready artwork, ensuring all work created is brand compliant
Working within the Creative team and with the team manager, the candidate will assist in the designing, developing, and editing of artwork for the various communication mediums
Ensure all artwork developed and produced is accurate and consistent with the MCE corporate direction
Liaise with vendors and suppliers where necessary

Assist in maintaining an electronic & print library of all relevant images, artwork and logos to Ensure
that these are easily accessible for the team

Good experience of branding and brand development and have a strong design portfolio
Education (please indicate minimum and preferred academic requirements)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related area (e.g. Graphic Design, Arts etc.)
Skills / Competencies (please indicate requisite competencies that are qualified for the position)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Creative, dynamic and resourceful with good knowledge of current marketing trends
A Mac user with solid knowledge of applicable programs including Adobe CS3, QuarkXPress,
Freehand and Acrobat
Competentcomputerliteracy,includingWord,Excel,PowerPoint
Strong people management and leadership skills
Flexible in working hours, as this may require extra hours/out of normal work hours
Friendly, energetic and enthusiastic
Strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously without compromising on quality
