Job Description

A high-end International hotel brand is looking for a dynamic, confident individual to represent the brand in the APAC region.  The chosen candidate will have a great personality, must be outgoing, independent, very hands-on and mature, and happy to work in a fast-changing environment. This person must have strong knowledge in the Asia social media environment, and must be result-oriented. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful, motivated team, working on a global luxury hotel brand.

 

Position Summary:

• Promote social thinking throughout the organization 
• Plan and execute social media activities based on the global strategy
• Localize the global programs and bring the local/ regional insights to the global team
• Integrate social into brand, PR, analytics & loyalty teams and managing local social agency, if any & technology relationships
• Coach the hotels in the region for success in the social space, with a focus on ensuring that the field has the tools, infrastructure & resources required to be successful
• Become an advocate and advisor of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
• Work closely with global peers in USA to ensure that regional social efforts are aligned with overall global strategy & approach to social 
• Partner with peers on the regional digital marketing team to ensure that the paid, earned & owned are operating in sync and are fully complimentary
• Work with the regional counterparts (Brand, Consumer Insights, PR) to establish processes that ensure social is knitted into the organization in ASPAC
• Play a key role in identifying technology vendors that the brand should partner with and then manage these relationships once established (regional and hotel level)

 

Requirements:

• Has strong knowledge in Asia social media environment 
• Bilingual language skill set (English plus one Asian language skill set is preferable) 
• Over 8 years of social media experiences; preferably with marketing/ communications agency background 
• University degree and above
