Job Description

Our client, an international brand renowned for their high-end playground design, is hiring a talented, motivated Creative Studio Manager/Visualizer with a background in landscape, product, or commercial design with the skills required to create unique playground concepts. Along with experience of managing a small team, you must possess excellent understanding and experience in the execution of the complete design pipeline from initial idea to completion. You should have a good grasp of the conceptual and technical challenges in each step of the pipeline with regards to both creative and software knowledge.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Creates a good metric and system balance between client vs. budget, time vs. effort with regards to each part of the design process.
  • Realistic with design schedule and implements critical thinking in balancing deadlines vs. creative output.
  • Implements strategy in pipeline management, is flexible and examines where workflow processes can be improved.
  • Liaising with sales managers and distributors to understand project needs.
  • Strong communication skills aligning both internal and external parties’ expectations.
  • Assessing clients’ design briefs and assigning designers to a project.
  • Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations, and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery.
  • Manages and assesses both the team and clients’ feedback to ensure goals are met and/or implement changes when required.
  • Passionate in the creation of compelling images that communicates design intention, product focus and scenarios.
  • Strong digital compositing and post-production knowledge.
  • Experience in 360s/VR rendering.
  • Strong 3D modelling knowledge. Understands topology/re-topo, UV unwrapping and mapping.
  • Experience dealing with different software and file types/formats. Understands the necessary format conversion pipelines to achieve clients’ needs.
  • Tech-savvy and proactive in self-learning, troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
  • Software requirements: Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Chaos Group VRay, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (and/or Adobe Suite), Autodesk AutoCAD
